Germans have a unique way of celebrating Christmas - Christmas Markets!

Its an amazing collection of stalls that really give a Christmas celebration flavour - decorations, Christmas trees, candles, and... food! The highlight must be Glühwine! Was at the Köln Altermakt with colleagues (yes - I sneaked out at 712pm!) and really soaked in the festival feeling while eating bratwurst and having a mug of warm Glühwine :)

Somehow, I must have been too drunk and set my alarm clock for 739PM- rather than "AM". And so I was... LATE for work this morning! Woke up at 836AM and stared in disbelief at my handy...

In a superhuman effort, I brushed my teeth, changed, toasted my breakfast and rushed to Bad Godesburg Ubahn station by 849am, in time for the 850am train! Phew! Except that... the train didn't come!! It was delayed by 10min. Now, IF only I knew that in advance... *#!?*

Really want to thank God - today was possibly the nicest workday I had since joining IC. I feel accomplished, having been able to deliver what my manager and client wanted. It was a day spent productively. And better yet, we had fun, jokes during the work hours as well. Really felt pleasant - truly the kind of team environment that I was looking out for in consulting!

And... I also received many well wishes on FB and email for my birthday! It is such an inexpressible feeling to bid goodbye to my "20s" and greeting the big number "3"! Will this new decade bring more maturity, wisdom and blessings?

Finally took a weekend off to tour around again! This time to Amsterdam to visit Roy! The highlight of the holiday was a visit to Madurodam - land of the miniature toys!

Gosh... I've got a new housemate and he's well... wierd in a slight manner. Its disgusting... every morning he uses the toilet earlier than me and when I enter, I'll find the toilet bowl closed with the lid. Open it and I'll see a nice "cake" floating. Its like... "Dude... FLUSH!!" Lets see if it happens again!

More curiously... we ran out of toilet paper. So erm... how did he clean up after "baking"##??!!
