Gosh... working in teams isn't cakewalk. Divergent working styles and viewpoints start to emerge... but at least we managed to end it off with agreement that we'll work out differences in future professionally!

On a happier note, last night was the last Friday before term starts and abt half the class decided chill out.

935pm - nothing's happening @ Hughes Bar. We didn't know the PGCEs.
945pm - walked with Dhyan to Queens.
1005pm - nice crowd at QBar! Someone enticed the whole MBA gang to go down to Hughes for our "BOP" (disco/party)!
1115pm - reached Hughes Bar... and it was thumping! interestingly, the DJ really sensed the
crowd's age has kind of gone up and started playing music from the 80s and it was... fantastic! (wait till the pix come out!)
1245am - time to call it quits!

Life @ Cam is fantastic! Pre-term is really a holiday... the school does the nice talks to make you feel like "you've arrived"... going out with new friends!

There's just so much new things to do! Just to give a sense: Saturday went in a flash... attended a talk by a Marketing Director of Jack Morton in school followed by a lunch recep, then went punting with my MBA classmates.

Think we set a new record being the only boat that went on river Cam the other way round - and had so many collisions! Shld have worn Oxford badges or something! But jolly good fun with my fair share of the long metal oar :)

This was followed by a dinner appt with a Singaporean. I then rushed back to college for a "ghost tour" around town at night organised by the MCR, which ended off at the bar chilling out with a mug of beer :)

Really feeling guilty not touching my books much!

That's it. After months of waiting, D-day arrived. Had lunch with colleagues, went to run some errands and got home for dinner. Kind of miss my family and home... told my elder brother to come home regularly for dinner. I think my family misses me just as much!

Seems so surreal... going to the airport... seeing familiar faces send me off. Its like "麻辣火锅" - happy, excited, yet a tinge of "can't bear to leave" - all these feelings rolled in together. Thanks to family and friends for being there! Will have to find the pix somewhere to insert into this blog.
